Operation BAM

IUI 2!

Jeeesh this month is flying by! I have already done everything hahaha

IUI2 went mmmm, everything went fine till the insemmination, man that was PAINFULL!  and im doubting the fact she actually did the IUI correctly.

But I did have 2 eggs... so double chances..

Bad news is that if it dont work.. ( which im blamin on the doc! ) then i have to skip a month cause next month the treatment scedule is full..

But this is all sounding very negative , which we are not going to be! this time just worked!

Pffff, today, our BAM group buried a friend.. a fellow bammer , and I think the most heart wrenching thing I have ever thing is seeing a 2 years old tapping on a coffin saying mama mama..

He knew she was in there... then he stood on the stage at the funeral and pointed to her picture that was next to the coffin and excitedly said , mama!!! , he loved her, he was so proud... he has no idea.. there was not a dry eye in the house..

Lovely Lovely Jolanda .. Rest in Peace.. your Funeral rocked , Breast Cancer Sucks.. you win babe.

Pregnyl Injection!

ok ok , its not that bad, i promise i didnt take any pictures of the ACTUAL deed hahaha

So now the wait is on... pff, its ridulous, you start to imagine all sorts of things , when im acutally 100 certain that its indigestion... and if it wasnt this week, i would deff know its indigestion hahaha ,

Im still feeling absoluutly nothing.. nothing to report.. another 10 days to go..

IUI One !

Oh so much has happened and i really wanted to update in the last night shift, so ill recap what happened the last few days!

On Saturday  I went to the clinic for a echo and the egg was 1.4 mm , was told to keep injecting

I went back on monday , and it was 1.6 mm , they told me to stop injecting puregon and do my last pregnyl jab that night at 21.40

Monday evening at 21.40 I did the pregnyl jab, it was very interesting , i had to mix 2 glass viles, and the injection was a real one, not a pen , so i was , if i may add, very bloody proud! and it wasnt that bad! im becoming an old junkie!

The last shot from Pregnyl was the end of my side of the bargin regarding this cycle, the last one , that injection made sure that my egg would jump at exactly the right time , I had an appointment for Wednesday ( today ) at 13.40 for the insemmination.

Today I went to the hospital and they did the insemmination at exactly 13.40 , to make the timing good, and again they couldnt find the opening to my uteres ? and it was painfullll but eventually she did and we did the insemmination that i dont feel !

So that is it! we have done IUI 1 ! , now we wait! 2 weeks :-) , 2 weeks till pregnancy test, or  I will get my period in the meantime , then i will also know .

To be fair it really wasnt that bad, i was really dreading it all but now I can confindently say that its ok, im not sure how  I will feel having to do it another 6x hahaha, because its alot more intense , and takes alot more time then the previous attempts, its been 5 trips to the hospital , all in all taking 15 hours.. with travel..

BUT hey! we are going for the main prize here!! lets hope I have won already :-)

I am a spoilt Brat

Yes I am! but I also pay alot of tax, so when my rebate arrived... yes, you guessed it

I did it :-)

Yes! I did it and to be very honest , it was a peice of cake, the needle is so small and so sharp that if you just put it on the skin, it slide in without a flinch!

Today I went to the hosp, it was weird , it was sunday and the hosp was actually closed, well the section that i need to be in !,  but anyhow , i walked to my department and there where only 2 nurses there, one did the scan, and it all looked good, I have 10 eggs right now, 7 on the one side and 3 on the other, so that meant that i could start !

This is a very interesting time , Im injecting 75mm a day, till Saturday, and then they are going to do a scan and see how far its all grown, an egg needs to be 2 cm to be ripe, and i need maximun 2 , so this is the trial run to see if i reacte well to this method, if all is well on saturday, we can go ahead and do a attemp this month... exciting!!!

Our holiday was perfect, we really had such a great time , we had alot of hilarous moments and really enjoyed ourselfs. All the hotels where great and we just had time to relax, pity about the jetlagg... we really struggeled with the time, but at least we where the first ones at the stores in the morning, and you can find coffee at anytime in America! it was great for me to be back,  I love that country!

But then all good things come to an end... hahaha and to be honest, there is so much is going on here right now, its madd!!!! im disorganised and that drives me crazy!!!!

I have my summer and winter clothes seperated.. I have 5 clothing cuboards.. but i like things to be tidy, so i seperate summer and winter and put the season that im not using under my bed in rollaways.

Well I returned home, unpacked all the bags.. with all the new stuff, then i decided to get my winter stuff out from under the bed.. and then i decided to throw out alot of old stuff, and lets just say that then i lost the plot and now my apartment looks like a clothing bomb has hit it ... literally!

Now im not really sure where to start , but im working again, on tuesday is my first day off and then im going to start on the first morning to sort it all out ...

THen I also have alot of photoshop work to do on the mac.. plus start catalouging my Roxette collection which is going to take months to sell , but hey, keeps me off the streets..

AND yesterday, I got my period! . totally unexpected , a week early! so tomorrow im going to the hospital for my first echo.. to check if everything is clean, and then we are going to start growing eggs!  I will be logging about this alot this week as this is a totally new process for me, but something that is really exciting is that S , had 2 attemps at this protocol.. and she is preggers! , fantastic news ofcourse, and promising for me! .

ofcourse i also need to start with the dreaded needles this week , so that is less inviting but part of the deal, and not seeming that bad actually !

Hi from Lancaster

Hi!

we are having a absoluut ball! everything is going great , i dont even know where to start. Jetlagg is absoluutly killing us! we are up mega early every morning and completely crashing early! we are shopping hard and making some great deals. Mom is doing great in her scootmobile! too great actually, it is hilarious at times, she has reversed into me twice, i fell flat on my face once because i was trying to keep up next to her and she was going to fast! and when im in the stores, i see her zapping bye left and right ! , a whole new world has opened up for her, she wants one at home ! .

Some hilarious moments where mom asking what something cost at the dollar store.... hahaha.

Everything is so big and handy, we did have a bit of a culture shock for the first few days but we are settled down well now and zapping all around town .

We went sightseeing today, We went to the Amish , and Joe took us on a Buggy ride, it was very interesting and we asked him lots of questions. For Dinner we had real home cooked dinner from the Amish people and believe it or not folks, I had baked sweet potatoe with marshmallows on top... unbelievable , reg get over here! .

Tomorrow we are heading back to NYC and handing back our unbelievably cool car, its a Chevy and it drives like a dream! so smooth we are traveling very comfortably..

Shopping is a hoot, we are checking out alot of TJ Maxx and Marshalls , and outlet shopping, we are aloud to take back about 90 kilo between the 2 of us and we are closing in on that !!!! we already have bought an extra bag.

Ok thats all for now, right now mom is upstairs knitting a scalf with her new light up knitting needles hahaha.
